For residential and small commercial applications, a wireless security system is the clear choice.  To be blunt, there are simply no benefits left in hardwiring a security system.  The manufacturers have been developing all-new products – first for the wireless platform.  There are features in wireless systems today that hardwired systems have not had and simply never will.
